Description:
____________
This mod does a few things, maybe I could've kept all of these as separate mods, but I preferred to have everyting in one place instead of several mini mods taking up those valuable slots in my load order.
Bloodskal Beam Enchantment:

It adds a variety of Bloodskal weapon beam enchantments to the game; To obtain them, you can collect the lost weapons scattered around the world and learn their effects.

After you learn them, they can be re-used at any enchantment altar and applied to your weapon of choice.

Using the beams, has a mana and charge cost.

The beams are skill leleved, which means as you progress your skills, the damage and effects the beams have will level up with you. IE, regular elemental damage, is related to Destruction skill, poison damage, to Sneak, holy damage, uses Restoration.

Conjured weapons are also capable of throwing beams in V2.0, this requires the proper conjuration perks to work.
Artifacts:

Daedric (And some Aedric) artifacts, no longer spend charge.

Some artifacts, can also fire the colored bloodskal beams now (IE, Dawnbreaker creates Holy beams capable of disintegrating the undead).
Vanilla Enchantments Visuals

Vanilla enchantments, now have visuals associated with them, see screens to get an idea.

Bloodskal enchantment, also has magic visuals on the weapon, those are recolored versions of the Elemental Fury effect.
Poison Mechanics

I've added a new contact-hit enchantment: Poison. It can be combined with regular poisons since the system is completely separate. Poison-enabled weapons will be found as normal loot.

Poison arrows: they can be found throughout the world, and they can also be crafted via lesser power that's added automatically to your spell list. Keep in mind ANY poison can work in this system and its potency has no significance as it works with a different poison system that lasts longer, but does less damage. It poisons 10 arrows per vial of poison.
Magnus Staff

I've changed the way the magnus staff works. it still has the same functionality as before, but now, in addition, if you block while using it, you will cast an impenetrable magic barrier that will consume your magic as it is maintained.
Healing Magic:

Given the proper perk, healing magic that affects others now also has a damage effect on hostile undead and a different color effect on friendly undead.

You can see some of what it does in this video. Credits to MonkeyAngie for making it.

Compatibility:
______________
This may conflict with other mods that alter the vanilla enchantments in some way. Also contains records that affect daedric artifacts, a few falmer NPCs (to give them poison-enchanted weapons) and healing magic spells (adds new effects), other than that, it's meant to get along with almost everything. I'll consider making patches, or perhaps uploading a guide to solve conflicts via TES5Edit if specific conflicts become an issue.

Requirements:
_______________

SKSE

Dawnguard and Dragonborn DLCs

Zim's Immersive Artifacts (Full plugin) This is because of the changes I've made to add features of this mod to magical artifact items.

Ordinator This is because V2.0 has some effects, specifically the healing and the conjured weapon ones, that require perks to work.

Alternate versions do not require the last 2 mods to work, as the changes were set to vanilla form artifacts, instead of the tweaked ones from Zim I.A. and the Ordinator perk requirements, also set to vanilla perks. Alternate downloads however, still require the main version.

Install:
_______
Standard deal, drag n' drop, or use mod manager of choice with the file pack.
Make sure this mod loads after all of its requirements.

To Update:
___________
Safest way to update a mod is usually to remove it completely and try again.

Put all items you or your followers might be wearing somewhere safe, save your game

Exit, remove the mod.

Reload, wait a few seconds, save again.

Exit, use something like SaveCleaner to "remove orphan scripts".

Repeat step 3.

Exit, install the new version.

Play.

Note that this way will probably remove any custom items you have created, and it will reset the chests to containing the lost weapons even if you already looted them and learned the effect, this will undo everything related to the mod.
Alternatively, you can simply overwrite the old version with the new one, and use something like WryeBash to tell your save the esp file's name has changed and it will try to recognize the new state of things, but I can't promise it will work properly. It's more than possible that many of the script variables will be broken this way.

Walkthrough:
_____________
The lost weapons are found in specific boss chests, once.

To see the locations, refer to the screenshot section.
There is a total of 9 Bloodskal beam enchantments with different properties, which are as follows:

The Dancing Flame: Located on Sky Haven temple armory, damage type Fire.

Thunderstrike: Located on that chest at the entrance of High Hrothgar, damage type Shock.

Frostweave: Located on a chest neat Septimus Signus' Outpost, damage type Frost.

Vampire's Will: Located on Dimhollow Crypt, damage type Absorb Health.

Scholar's Insight: Located on the Midden, under Winterhold's College, on that room with the hand, damage type Drain Magicka.

The Final Rest: Located on a chest on Bonestrewn Crest dragon lair, damage type Drain Stamina

Basilisk Fang: Located outside the first Dark Brotherhood lair, near Shadowmere's swamp, damage type Poison.

Oblivion's Bane: Located on the Soul Cairn, next you where you find Valerica for the first time on the Dawnguard questline, damage type Soul Trap - Banish

Paladin's Justice: Located near Potema's throne upon finishing "The Wolf Queen Awakened", damage type Holy (turn undead)

As a bonus, the following vanilla artifacts are capable of throwing the beams: Dawnbreaker, Mace of Molag Bal, Volendrung, Ebony Blade, Mehrune's Razor (unique black beam type), Harkon's Sword, Chillrend.

EASTER EGG:
As a friend's request, I've added one extra bloodskal magic type: Death beam. It has 30% chance of insta-kill, and it can only be obtained from an upgraded version of the original Bloodskal blade, it can be crafted at forges, provided you have the necessary ingredients. The recipe should be found at the Black Book near exiting the Bloodskal Blade dungeon, after defeating Zahkriisos.

Issues:
_______

May be slow to throw beams on slower machines. Lesser lag (IE 1-2 seconds), probably means the system is busy with tons of scripts, greater lag (IE 30+ seconds) means the game is overloaded with scripts and can't work as intended.

Some times, daggers or axes can double-throw a beam on a single strike, did my best to put constraints on the script, but sometimes it still slips through the cracks.

If you try it on a game where you have already plundered the specific chests, the weapons might not be there, It's recommended to try this on a new game for that matter. Alternatively, just use the console to add the desired weapon directly to inventory (or possibly wait for the next cell reset, but I have not tried this).

Uninstall:
_________
Remove any custom item you have enchanted from your or your followers' inventory, Save and then exit. Then remove the mod. You may want to use Save Cleaner on your save after.

Credits:
________

Myst42 AKA Me.

GenioMaestro for being my script mentor and helping a lot to get this thing running.

Mahtawa AKA Sir Artsy for random idea that kickstarted this entire project.

ChizFoShiz(ImbuedWeapons), 184Gesu(ColorfulMagic), Sinobol(Animated Enchantments Overhaul), SpiderAkiraC(SeeEnchantments), Aetherius(Enchantments Upgraded) and Myopic(Enchantment Effect Replacer). Mostly because taking a look at their mods allowed me to edit my own stuff in this mod.

Feedback:
__________

If it's a mayor bug, I will try to fix it asap.

If it's just a random "can you do this or that" I will consider it, provided it's a good idea (AKA an idea I like).

If you just want to remove some feature of this mod and keep only a specific separate feature, then you're in bad luck, cause I'm a very lazy modder and I dont feel like making custom versions for each person who doesn't like the tiny details. PS: Learn to TES5Edit, it's fairly easy to remove features from this mod, if you have a mild understanding of what to do with that program. It's actually the easiest modding tool out there.

On Criticism and Trolling:
________________________
Since the Skyrim community is always so eager to criticize everything, I will say this once here, and ignore any further comment on the subject:
I mod for myself, my friends, and the random unknown people who might enjoy what I did. I'm not some god of modding, and I just do random humble stuff in the limited time I have.
If [You] whoever you are, don't like it, feel free to go... far, far away... You were doing fine without me or my mod so far, and I'm pretty sure the internet is large enough for all of us. : D

Introduction:

First of all, I designed this mod is a "spiritual successor" to an already existing mod which I enjoyed very much, which is called Burn Freeze Shock Effects by Pauderek. My mod is not un update, nor does it use anything from the original BFS, it's a completely separate entity, and this makes both mods incompatible, however... If you wish to pay proper credit, you may want to think about downloading the original if you haven't already done so and give it an endorsement.

Description:

Elemental Effects: Elemental magic causes elemental visual efects on enemies' dead bodies, in example, fire leaves them burnt, ice creates a hoarfrost effect, lighting makes them twitch, but also has varying degrees of burn, different from the fire effect.

Critical Hits: Elemental magic on the living, is also capable of causing critical hits, which are noted by a message, a sound and a visual effect. Critical hits cause extra damage based ony the character's level and destruction skill.

Overkill: Higher tier magic effect (Expert) spells, will always cause effects on death no matter what, however, they have a chance of applying an "overkill" mechanic, which can turn enemies to ash in the case of fire/lightning magic, or turning them into crystallized blocks of ice in the case of frost magic. It is meant to create the impression that magic of that level is so powerful that the effects it causes are more extreme than regular ones.

Cristallization: Specifically, Ice overkill effects, have a chance of crystallizing the oponent. In the vanilla game, some perks added this chance as well in the form of the Ice Form effect, but this mod takes it to the next level, as it also integrates Ice Form type effects into its mechanics, changes the visuals associated to crystallization, gives a small chance to make crítical hits on the living crystallize the enemy, and most important, It allows cristallized actors to break. Meaning, that hitting a crystallized enemy, has a chance to make them explode into pieces. You can turn them to ice, the make them explode by attacking them. (This chance is a lot lower on living enemies to ensure the game stays balanced)

Insta-Kill: Citicals also have a very small chance to insta-kill an enemy, or even the player, if the option is active on the MCM.

MCM Menu: Yup, my first MCM. From there, one can configure what features of the mod one would like to keep active and which ones not, as well as being able to control the probability calculations for effects to happen.

Cooking: Just like the original BFS, if victims of an elemental effects spell have certain types of meat on their inventory, it will get a cooked version of them, given the proper effect, I also included passive support for Harvest Overhaul items.

Ash Piles: yeah, I changed a bit the meshes and the glow maps since I noticed on my ENB, they looked too glowey when they shouldn't be. Remove the ash texture files if you dont want that or are using a replacer for ash piles.

Version 2.0(Beta):

Undead Resurrection: Added a whole new functionality to the mod that allows undead enemies to rise again after dying. This system is also designed to replicate the functions of another previously existing mod, which is Truly Undead. However, I made my own design because that was the way I found to make both features compatible. Technically speaking, I'm using the same controller ability from my mod, to detect races and circumstances of death on undead characters, so that they may rise again. Most of the features of this new setting are entirely configurable through a new page on the MCM Menu.

How to kill undead:

The mod is set by default to only raise undead actors 2 more times after the initial fight (also configurable by MCM), this is made to make sure that dungeons are more challenging, but not annoyingly hard, especially for characters who lack the means to properly deal with the undead. Basically, anything that makes sense in various forms of lore in fantasy, should work, IE fire, holy magic, silver, supernatural races, daedric weapons, and also drain life, soul trap and bound weapons. In conjunction with this mod, Critical Kill, and Overkill effects of any element will also work on causing a permanent death. Dawnguard crossbows work on vampires.

What's different from other mods?

PERKS: BFS required perks to work properly, but my mod does not. It's purely based on chance and everyone is ruled by the
same chances. To create the impression more powerful magic, my mod uses the Overkill mechanic instead. This ensures my mod is 100% compatible with Perk-Altering mods such as SPERG or Ordinator possibly Sky-Re as well (Not tested)
BFS works only on dead things, while this mod also works with some changes such as a Critical Hit system which affects the living, and an Overkill system.

I have improved the shaders in a way I like them more, still a matter of preference though. See screenshots for reference.

BFS did not have support for Harvest Overhaul, which bothered me in the case of skeevers. When playing with stuff like iNeed, it's useful to cook your enemies, and skeevers are a good source of goodies.

Breaking crystallized enemies. Hit em and watch em explode.

Persistance: On using the original BFS, you probably didn't notice but when leaving a cell after you passed it, and caused effects on everyone, coming back did not guarantee that everyone would still have the effects. In fact it was more likely that everyone would be cured of the shaders, so previously burned enemies would now be fine upon revisit. Well, my mod does make something to fix that.

Mechanics design: This is more technical stuff, explained on more detail at the bottom (If you're interested), but it's enough to know that this mod was designed thinking of increasing performance and preventing error related to high demand of the script engine, especially with things like cloaks and concentration spells.

The bad news: I didn't implement poison or steam effects mechanics effects like BFS had.

As of V2.0, this mod also allows undead resurrection. See above for details

But Why?

I started investigating the sources of Skyrim "game corruption", meaning that moment when you have too many mods, something goes wrong, like IE all kinds of script events simply stop working, and you try to ask for tech support and someone tells you to post your papyrus log, only to find out its a bigass file, filled with repetitive blocks of something called "stack dumps". This mod was an attempt to increase performance and relase some burden from the script engine by optimizing the mechanics of the mod.

Also, as already mentioned above, because perks. I loved the concept of BFS but I play with Ordinator, and I wasn't about to let go of my perks mod just to see BFS work properly. Without perks, BFS works at less than 30% of its full capacity.

Hard Dependencies:

SKSE

Dawnguard and Dragonborn DLC

Soft Dependencies:

Harvest Overhaul - Creatures (Not necessary, If it's present, it'll work)

PapyrusUtil (Only If you want to use one of the debug options to see data into the console, It's still a good thing to have in your mod list)

Installation:

Pretty straightforward, just drop with your mod manager of choice, and play.

Optional - HarvestOverhaulCreatures: only works if you have Harvest Overhaul installed, it's a tweak to make sure the new meats from that mod get properly cooked with the effects.

IF UPGRADING (From V1 to V2): Save your game, and use something like SaveCleaner or Resaver to remove MystElementalApocalypseMCM.pex from the save's script list. The mod works without this step, but the MCM wont be reset as the new one. Alternatively, if you dont much know what you're doing, simply remove the mod entirely, save your game again, use SaveCleaner or Resaver to clean orphan scripts from the save, then load game, wait a few seconds, save again, and now you can reinstall normally.

OUTDATED (Only working for V1) - Optional - OnHit() Event Script: Use this if the spam in your papyrus log is bothering you. This script uses an event that makes less calls per second than OnMagicEffectApply() on the script, but it may be a little slower in processing the effect. Both are interchangeable mid-game. Read the bottom section if interested in knowing more.

Uninstall:

Turn the mod off on the MCM menu, save, deactivate the mod, reload, save again, and use something like SaveCleaner to "remove orphan scripts"

Perk Mods: Hell yeah

Magic Mods: Yup.

Custom Magic Mods: Yeah, those too, as a bonus, if ANY magic effect has a skill requirement of 75 and above, AKA "an expert spell", it will allow the overkill mechanics to work. EASTER EGG: Spells with both keywords fire and lightning count as "Arcane" and create similar effects to fire magic, but with blue aesthetics. Note: This mod DOES NOT ADD extra spells, not even for that arcane fire feature, this mod only reacts to destruction magic, and the keywords associated with spells.

Original BFS: Dont think so. It's one or the other.

Trap Mods: Ehh... No idea. It's possible that they wont work, since I changed a few trap magic effect records from the vanilla game to include elemental keywords in them. Probably fixable with TES5Edit.

Mods that affect the Ice Form type effects, same as the previous, some records regarding this have been altered.

FAQ:

Q: Will it work with X spell mod?

A: it's designed to recognize ALL spells from ANY mod, as long as they are hostile and have the elemental keyword from the vanilla game.

Q: Will it break my game for for all this talk about scripts?

A: No it wont. Never on its own at least. I ended up finding out stack dumps happen all the time, and the original BFS mod by Pauderek caused me a lot of those too, it was why I made this on the first place. But in neither of these cases, the dumps generated by these mods are of the fatal kind.

Q: How do I make my spells work with this?

A: This mod reacts to magic damage keywords, every vanilla spell in the game has them for each element, and if mod designers were smart in creating their custom spells, chances are they remembered to put proper keywords on their spells as well. Everything will work as long as those keywords keep coming attached to spells.

Q: How do I unlock blue fire effects?

A: You dont. that is a feature I implemented for personal use, and if you wish to make it work, you'll need a custom mod that adds spells that contain both keywords, fire, and lightning magic damage at the same time. Knowing one's way around the Construction Kit, it's one the easiest things in the world of modding.

Q: But what about FEC?...

A: Added a reply to the FEC question on the comment section. To put it simple, it seems to be mostly about personal aesthetic preferences.

Q: I dont like this or that feature, spoonfeedme and do it like I want!

A: Nope. A mod is a GIFT, from the modder to the community. I made this because I like it. If you find this somehow offends you, feel free to not use it. I am open to suggestions, but I'm not here to satisfy every user's whim, this is about my whims and what I want, in my game.

Q: Lol ur mod sucks!

A: Trolls will be reported on sight. If you dont like stuff, dont be a d#ck, and move along.

Some Technical Mumbo-Jumbo (Ignore if not interested):

On Stack Dumps:
Suffices to say, that after a lot of testing and experimenting, I've found out that stack dumps on the papyrus log, are a warning that gets generated when a single script gets too many calls per second, and it starts to queue the script calls in order to finish answering all of them. Contrary to popular belief, it is not caused by an excess of "script heavy mods", it is caused by a single event repeated in time, at a faster speed than the script engine can answer. Specifically, things like cloak and concentration spells call the script event OnMagicEffectApply() really really fast, so a single target, subjected to a spell like "Flames" using a script with no proper "filter" will generate a stack, and it's not an error, it's simply the way the game works. HOWEVER, be warned that queuing up too many scripts does seem to cause "script lag" as the calls get delayed in time, which in turn may lead to script malfunctioning. If you see a papyrus log that generates billions of stack calls from a single mod, repeatedly, during all the time, regardless of concentration spells, and your game performance on the script engine has lag so horrible that stuff simply stops working, it may be a sign of malfunction, which is usually a "stuck" mod making the same call on itself over and over again.
The simplest way to properly detect a corrupted game, is to use something like Save Cleaner or Re-Saver and look at the count of Active Scripts, which in cases of error is usually above 1000 when on a normal save iis no more than 6-200.

The optional script on this mod, is an alternative that uses a different event to capture the magic as it is applied to actors, the OnHit() event makes less calls per second, but it's a bit slower to retrieve the magic effect. Like I said, stack dumps per-se are a warning, even if sometimes, they are actually telling you of a error. On this mod however, I have never seen it in all my tests, as it was designed to prevent such things. Feel free to use it if stack dumps still scare you like they once did me.

description
When the mothers from the richer districts ofthe cities of Cyrodiil want to frighten their children, they often talk about
the Wolf Queen, a merciless necromancer with an eerie aura.
The inhabitants of the slums, on the otherhand, tell of a dark heart.
A young, elegant woman who roams the streets ofImperial City, leaving blood and terror on her way desperately.
Caitlin Farsinger, better known as CaitlinDarkheart, would smile at this description.
Not about that elegant, that Caitlin foundrather flattering. But indiscriminately? Caitlin was not at all indiscriminate.
Rather, the choice of her victims was a clearchoice for slave owners, cutthroats and murdering mercenaries. Influenced by a
life on the street as a plaything for the shady characters in the slums, the
adult Caitlin decided to take revenge for the pain and humiliation of
childhood.
Raised in the small village located in thesouthwest of Cyrodiil, the young Caitlin could have led a sheltered, happy
life. Until the night when a group of mercenaries and slave traders attacked
the village, murdered her family and kidnapped some of the village's children
with her.
For the next few years the group would be soldin a largely unknown iron mine in the Black Marsh. Due to hunger, illness,
accidents and other hardships, all their friends from the village died until
Caitlin was the only one left and was finally sold to a brothel in Bruma.
On the way there, Caitlin managed to escape.Driven by her hatred and mental pain, Caitlin finally set out to find the 5 men
who murdered her family and kidnapped her. She finally found what she was
looking for in Imperial City and began her revenge campaign.
Only the last one, a beautiful older Breton, escaped her revenge. As a respected merchant, the man moved beautifully to
Markarth years ago to build a new trading house there.
Caitlin followed this trail as soon aspossible, only to find out in Markarth that a group of conspirators had come
before her and had attacked the travel company of the trader and all of them
had died.
Now in a foreign country, with no target insight, Caitlin heard of dragons, rebellion and a hero in that country. Fascinated
by the stories and ballads, Caitlin decided to find this Dovakhiin and join
him. Maybe, maybe her soul would come to rest.

description

An elf inSkyrim? - certainly not an easy thing to do if you get too close to the Stormcloaks.

Nevertheless,Shayariel's grandmother Elenvina had left her hometown Vivec early to explore
the rough north of Tamriel.
Her thirstfor adventure did not only lead her to Skyrim, but also Highrock, Cyrodiil and
the island of Summerset always attracted with their own seductive reputation.

Until theday when Elenvina met the North Einar in Windhelm and settled with him in the forests
south of Lake Ilinata. When Shayariel's mother Dalyn was born, the small family
moved to Helgen to live there until the death of their grandparents.

WhenShayariel was still a little girl the family moved with father Olaf to
Riverwood to work for the local sawmill.

ThereShayariel grew up sheltered until the day the dragon visited Helgen. Her
parents were there during the attack and died in the flames of the dragon.

Overnight,Shayariel's once reddish-brown hair turned white as snow and now she waits for
the chance for Himmelrand to deal with the new threat from the dragons.

description
The Winterhawks.A clan of rough Nords who rarely spend their lives on land and travel the skerries from Skyrim to Cyrodiil. Always in search of valuable cargo in the port cities of the provinces or on the hunt for just as valuable cargo in foreign ship's bellies.
The "Tern", the birthplace of Solveig, was one of the Winterhawks most magnificent and famous boats - until the night when pirates boarded the "Tern" and during the fight the young Solveig was seriously injured by an arrow. Burning and listing, the "Tern" was able to escape to the harbor of Dawnstar. Jarl Skald picked up injured Solveig to help her recover.During her recovery, she heard the emerging stories of a new Dragonborn and has been waiting for the opportunity to accompany this living legend.

Vampires in Skyrim are usually predictable and cliche. They often look the same and have similar abilities regardless of their level. This mod will add much more variety to your game and make vampires more challenging and more varied.

This mod improves all of the generic and named vampire NPCs in the game (except for Serana, Valerica, and Harkon).

The Vampires in this mod will spawn according to your level, have different spells, unpredictable AIs, varied armor according to their class and level, and even special weapons you haven't seen before. Vampire appearance will change slightly - stronger, more ancient vampires are increasingly paler. Some Vampires will turn into a mist when they are low on health, some will use Blink Attack to teleport beside or behind you, Vampire weapons can infect you with Sanguinare Vampiris, and unique classes of Vampires attack differently.

All armor and weapons that you might find on these new vampires have new temper recipes so you can improve them if you wish.

Vampires will scale in level and power with you all the way from level 1-130 (some named vampires can go even higher). Many abilities also scale with vampire level, so be prepared for them to put up more of a fight at higher levels.

Vampires can also drop Vampire's Bloodgems upon death, or, if you are a Vampire yourself, you can craft them if you have 25 Enchanting and 25 Alchemy skills (using a Common Soulgem and Blood Potions).

These Vampire's Bloodgems can be smelted into Bloodglass Ingots, which can be used to craft brand new Bloodglass weapons.

Bloodglass weapons can be tempered to improve them.

You must have the Glass Smithing Perk to make Bloodglass weapons - they are slightly less powerful than Daedric weapons, but have added effects that are independent of any enchantments you might add.

Bloodglass weapons have a rare chance, on each strike, to:
- reduce enemy damage output (10 sec), or
- reduce enemy stamina, magicka, and heal rates (10 sec), or
- reduce enemy movement speed and attack speed (10 sec), or
- absorb health (50+), or
- very rarely kill an enemy and infect them with blood plague which can spread to others nearby ...
- killing a bleeding out enemy may absorb their life force and recharge readied enchanted weapons

Added effects on Bloodglass weapons can be disabled in the mod if you want.

This mod is compatible with vampire overhaul mods, like Better Vampires, Sacrosanct, or Vampiric Thirst.
Vampires are modeled after Better Vampires and use its skills, spells, and abilities.
Vampires are based off vanilla ranks/names.

All material is standalone and does not rely on other vampire scripts, vampire races, etc.

This mod modifies existing Vampire NPCs, leveled lists, and adds new spells, perks, abilities, armor, and weapons.
My Vampires have customized AIs (with the exception of Serana, Valerica, and Harkon) so other AI mods won't affect my NPCs.

Wrye Bash Patch Notice:
You should place my mod last in your load order and then
rebuild your bashed patch with the "Relev" tag for my mod.

You need to make a new bashed patch with this mod if you already have a bashed patch that changes leveled vampires.
Changes to leveled lists in my mod may be overwritten by your old bashed patch otherwise ...
If you do not use a bashed patch, make certain my mod is loaded LAST after any other mods that alter leveled lists or change the levels of NPCs you fight.

Some mods which alter Vampire NPCs may not be compatible (we change the same things) so there isn't really a way to "patch" that. It could be possible to combine traits into one .esp, but I won't be getting that complicated - updating in the future would be a nightmare.

Installing

To install this mod, simply use NMM or MO.
You can install this mod manually if you want to ... just copy the .esp file and loose files to your Skyrim\Data directory.
Use LOOT to sort your load order, but I cannot see there being any issues unless another mod edits Vampire NPCs too.

Uninstalling

1. Make certain you are not near one of my Vampire NPCs, or have any of the new armor equipped.
2. Remove any of my weapons (or any weapons you have made with the new enchantments) from your inventory or your game will crash when you try
to load it later.
3. Remove my mod with NMM or MO. If you installed manually, delete the .esp file and the BSA from your Skyrim\Data directory.

NOTE:
It may be best to let cells reset in your game.
From everything I have read, waiting in a cell flagged "never resets" for 31 days will do the trick.
It may be possible that NPCs will need to reset without any of my mod's changes - I doubt it, but you never know with Skyrim ...

zzjay Male Body Replace with Better Male Feet and High poly hands

$

Description:

This is a complete lore friendly MALE body mod with:
- High poly hands (i mean more than vanilla but not crazily high poly, somethign balanced)
- Vanilla Compatibility ( YES it's a NON-NUDE body replacer)
- SEAMLESS (with psds resources too)
- Merged with Better Male Feet (already included and improved), with ALL of the VANILLA MALE SHOES (where feet are visible) converted, and with fixed ankle gaps. (Fixed skeleton Mismatch that caused a gap on the male feet.)

I included a set of prebuilt textures based on skysight (with seamfixes for the vanilla male body).
A modified version of the vanilla male body (with hopefully better proportions) and underwear courtesy of imperator and neo
Face texture are also heavily lore friendly and based off the vanilla dlc texture pack with some (MANY) improvements taked from shingles cat lovely's male faces.
However since not everybodyplays vanilla you can download the high poly hand and the feet meshes separately.

Additionally you can download PSDS to add the feet meshes or the neckseam fixes to whatever body and faceyou want...but be careful a bit of experiance is required.

Why is it non nude?
Because there are so many nude body replacers, and you seriously have no idea how hard is to fix all the seams generated by adding genitals to a mesh.
Nude male meshes are already in a good and playable state, this mod is for people who love the vanilla feel, but are bothered by the ugly feet or the seams, without wanting anythign complicated.

What about that breton charcter?
That is a custom headmesh withcustom morphs and custom normalmap sulpt.
Headmesh is based on high poly head by dizona, and it relies on a custom esp (with tons of shit) to be playable.
One day i'll have time to turn that to a follower.

I enjoyed very much sculpting, the making of characters and the proccess of giving them expression. Now it ends. I´m satisfied with the standards met.
Special Edition version

The LE version:

- still standalone
- does not require cbbe or unp
- does not have texture sets - uses your installed textures
- does not have eye relection, brow, mouth and scar textures - uses your installed textures
- comes with textures that replace female complexions. It will overwrite what you have if you let it. These are flexible in terms of skin compatibility. Test it out.
- some detail is lost comparing to SE. It´s too much to implement texture sets.
- Adapted shapes and colours(hair, skin) for many models for LE. Some presets are different. Some are different because some assets were not for LE.

- This mod is not made for most skins.
My suggestion falls that you either use bijin skin or rwos. These two are a fit.

Requirements: USLEP
I included a single texture to ensure consistency for the 3 elders on this mod. I will assume everyone has a body mod installed. This mod will use its femaleold textures, does not matter which body type it is.

Installation: if using bijin skin or rwos use my complexion files if you want the npcs to look closer to what is intended. If not, do not overwrite/use them. I do not know how they fit with others, all I know is that I made the complexions subtler. These complexions affect age mostly.

Diversity between all.
Some degree of characterization to whom the npcs are. (voice, backstory)
Most traits have been preserved, especially age and hair colours.
Unique face configs.

The gameplay changes are only for the affected followers and were made for a modded game in mind. Though it is absolutely not required.
The changes are just an extension of what the vanilla already is up to higher levels so that they will progress with the player.
-

Almost all of the npcs are quest-related/quest-givers.

There are 2 articles. Follower changes and npc changes.

Sekiro deathblow sound for Skyrim killmoves

$
0
0
Adds deathblow sound from Sekiro to some of Skyrim's killmoves.

More precisely it adds sound to 14 killmoves :

Twirl, Trip, Slash
Chest Stab
Grab Stab
Stab Slash
Stab Down Chest
Jump Stab
Grapple Stab
Stab Up Face
Knee, Grab, Stab
Knee, Flip, Stab
Bash, Flip, Slash
Decapitate

2H, all above and 2H Unique ones :

Stab Lift Up
2H Decapitate

As for the reason why I don't add it to all... During testing I have noticed that some sounds that are being played during few specific killmoves, are also shared by normal attacks, so there was a chance of sound playing outside of killmoves.

Note that I did not test a unique ones for warhammers/battleaxes as I never really use them in my game. So maybe it works for some of them too.

Anyways if you have VioLens installed, you have list of working ones here. You can disable all and then only enable working ones, or if it doesn't bother you that some of the performed killmoves will have that sound and some won't, leave it as you like.

Recommended mods to enhance killmoves :

While in Skyrim there's still no way to have an unlocked camera during killmoves, there are few mods that we can use to make them feel more impactful.

1. VioLens - A Killmove Mod

2. Enhanced Blood Textures

3.Enhaced Blood Splash from Hunter's Essence - (no need to grab main mod, just get blood splash)

4. Agony A Killmove Mod - Personally I feel like VATS is too much after a while, while non VATS gets quite boring after a while. This mod utilizes both. Killmoves will start in VATS for like a second and after that it will switch to non VATS.

IMPORTANT: If you're going to use it along VioLens, load VioLens after Agony and then set VioLens like THIS

Camera View : 3rd Person Static
Camera Settings : 3P SLOWMO OFF

Those settings will allow Agony to work alongside VioLens

5. Killcam blur removal - does what's in title except that we're going to use it for opposite effect. You can edit it's esp to do the opposite, so basically to add more blur to killcams(blur's active only during VATS phase). Luckly this mod has free to use permission, so I don't need to explain how to do it. Already modified esp by me is included in optional files.

Vermillion's Racemenu Presets

While cleaning out the backup folder I still had of my previous Skyrim installation, I found the presets of some of the characters that I no longer play. Over the years, some of those presets were requested by several members of the community so I thought I'd finally share them.

Below, you can find portraits of each of the four characters as well as a list of all the mods required to replicate their appearance.

Bounty Hunter - Updated (also patches and Russian translation)

$

0
    NOTE

Functionality hasn't changed. If you don't have USLEEP/Requiem, not going to translate mod, don't care about little benefits which gives you bsa over loose files or don't speak Russian - there's nothing else.
Mod Bounty Hunter was made by Epic Crab. All kudos to him! He made many good mods.

    UPDATE

In original mod you could translate MCM only by editing script and recompiling.
Now all you have to do is translate Data\Interface\translations\BountyHunter_yourLanguage.txt.
Also I have packed files into .bsa cause there's no reasons to not do it: the game is reading bsa faster than loose files and it less clutter your Data.

    PATCHES

For Unofficial Skyrim Legendary Edition Patch 3.0.15. It ain't much but it's honest work.

For Requiem 1.9.4.1. Rewards are deleveled, value identical to Requiem's.
Should work nice with 2+ requiem versions.
Requiem patch and USLEEP patch have no conflicting records between them so load order doesn't matter.

    RUSSIAN TRANSLATION

Translated text, MCM and voice. USLEEP patch translated too. Requiem patch doesn't need it.
Two versions of translation: ru text/ru voice and ru text/en voice.
Переведен текст, МСМ и озвучка, а также патч для USLEEP. Патч Реквиема в переводе не нуждается.
Два варианта перевода: русский текст и озвучка, русский текст и английская озвучка.

P.S. Why mod's name can't contain commas? It looks much uglier with brackets and interferes with my sense of beauty

Bandit Economy - LE

Bandit EconomyIMMERSION / ECONOMY / GAMEPLAY
Ever wonder who buys all those enchanted items you sell to Belethor? The bandits, of course!

This mod adds a chance that when you sell a weapon or armor to general goods merchants, that item may find its way into the hands of the bandits around Skyrim by chance.

GAMEPLAY
~=~=~=~=~
Weapons you sell may come back to bite you, but if you're able to kill the bandits wielding them, you can cash in selling the item twice. It's like recycling, but bloodier!

In terms of immersion, this will cause the items you sell to have a chance to not simply disappear after being sold. Instead, they may find their way into the hands of bandits! The chance that a merchant 'stows' an item away is generally around 50%, which means items will filter out of existence on average after 1 or 2 sales. Rarely, you'll find an item that you've wiped the blood off of several times.

HOW IT WORKS
=~=~=~=~=~=
There is a chance for certain merchants to 'stow away' weapons and armor you sell to them. Stowed items are put into a 'possible bandit gear' chest, which is shared by bandits across Skyrim.

When their cell loads into the game memory, Bandits have a chance to choose an item from the 'possible bandit gear' chest. Bandits choose according to their weapon class; fighters draw weapons & armor, mages draw staves & robes, archers draw bows & light armor.

Certain merchants are more/less likely to 'stow away' wares. Most merchants have a 50:50 chance of selling gear that ends up in the hands of bandits, but this is different for trustworthy / untrustworthy merchants. (See Merchant list below)

Fences will stow every weapon or armor sold to them and always make it available for bandits. You may use this to your
advantage, to push more deadly or valuable weapons into the hands of the bandits in Skyrim.

Quantity matters, so if you sell 62 enchanted rings, and the merchant stows them away, then you will eventually find those 62 enchanted rings on bandits. When the supply is empty, they will no longer draw them.

Most bandits have around 1 in 3 chance to draw a piece of equipment from the chest. Bosss have around 8 in 10 chance. It's frequent enough to be a solid game dynamic, but not so often as to take the whole game over. You'll notice it changes how you sell your loot, and how you think of bandits.

The following item types can be trafficked by merchants: Weapons, Staffs, Armor, Clothes, Robes, Ammo, Jewelry
Please note that Crossbows will not be chosen by bandits! (The combat AI doesn't know how to fire them.)

COMPATIBILITY
~=~=~=~=~=~
Bandit Economy reaches out to 471+ leveled bandit spawns. It does this by editing the base leveled bandit actors, and adding a script directly to them.

There are 2 scripts, one is added to certain merchant chests (see Merchants list) and the other is added to the leveled bandit actor's scripts. The script abstract is below (see Scripts).

You may have incompatibilities if: other scripts are also directly added to the merchant chests, or directly to the leveled bandits.

However any mods that affect merchant appearances should be fine! As well as any mods that add to merchant chests at runtime.

Please post a comment if you do find compatibility issues, and refer to the comments for more.

Background:

This is the sum of our prior efforts.

It takes the idea of traveling outside of Skyrim from our 'Skyrim - A Fragile Alliance' mod.
It uses the RTS mod for what will be chapter 11.
It utilizes ideas that we wanted to do before, but didn't have the knowledge to do (until now) such as our Lawyer mod.
It utilizes our Playable Monster Mod Add-On experience.

We could go on, but you get the picture. It's our primary project going forward and the first chapter will focus on an Animal Enclosure in High Rock. We have managed to secure a voice actor for this chapter, and we hope you'll enjoy their performance. But we'll talk more about that later.

In true DisgruntledWombats style, we are releasing a demo, rather than risk spending 5 years on a project and perhaps failing to release it at all. If you remember our 'Skyrim - A Fragile Alliance' mod, then you'll know what the demo is. However if you're new: Imagine 10 Blocks, 1 for each Race/Faction, and you look at 40-50 characters from the mod, the new, common weapons/armor/animals etc.

But doing things again from scratch means there are differences between what you saw then, and what you'll see now.

Key Distinctions from the first demo:

A full motion video cutscene will play at the beginning of your new game. This one I feel is better than the one the old version had.

The game begins at the Docks, so no need to warp.

All farms are developed.

All NPC's have their appropriate weapons and armor.

Certain characters are changed up here and there.

Different weapons and armors.

Both the Naga AND the Pahmar have been integrated.

You will have access to the new Katariah. It will serve as your moving base. Go to the Docks, and you'll find your ship (and inside the boat model -  a hatch door). To get back out, make your way into the ship, and you'll find a shrine on a barrel.

AI Packages are only in effect for Argonian and Breton laborers.

File compilation is done in a more organized fashion. They retain their more bit-size separations.
Installation:

For this mod -

Drag and drop the ESP file into your Skyrim Data Folder.

Drag and drop the rest of the folders (e.g. Meshes, Textures etc.) into your Skyrim Data Folder.
What can be expected in the future:

Outside of the first chapter?

10 more chapters that allow you to travel to areas across Tamriel. 40 Companions total that you will have to / can play as at different times. More variety. More Cutscenes etc. It's not so much a matter of figuring out how to do these things for the most part, it's just that it actually has to be done - and it takes time to do all of that data entry stuff, etc.

We will say however that the approach will be to update more frequently, to build this mod overtime rather than unveil it and be done with it. We're thinking of doing developer logs so that progress can be announced before releases are made. We think it would make for an interesting journey given that users can play the mod as it develops.

Well, we hope you enjoy!

More to Say LE

MORE TO SAY LEHello everyone! I'm Madows, I'm a humble Skyrim player who has been allowed to share the backport of More to Say with you, a mod that I recommend to anyone and that is the result of the excellent work of abramcf, to which all credits go for having created and that gave me permission to bring it to the Nexus.

This is one of my first backports, and consequently there may be factors that I have not taken into consideration. But no panic, I checked that the xEdit didn't find any errors and I played with the mod for a couple of hours and I didn't find any problems.

If you find bugs that are related to my backport and not to the original mod, do not hesitate to let me know in the comments, I will do what I can.

In any case if you liked the mod visit the original Special Edition page here, and leave a kudos or a comment, he deserves it :)

Here is a piece of description taken from the original page, changed to adapt to the classic version:

More to Say adds inconsequential dialogue to NPCs, constructed from the NPC greetings and miscellaneous lines from the same voice type. It is fully voiced, using existing sound files from Skyrim Special Edition. It aims to stay true to each NPC's character and story, though some liberties are taken to add character depth. Currently, this mod covers the NPCs inWhiterun, Riverwood, Shor's Stone and Karthwasten. It also adds some dialogue to the city and settlement guards.

Features

-- miscellaneous dialogue with Whiterun, Riverwood, Shor's Stone and Karthwasten NPCs.
-- fully voiced using the original game files.
-- the player can repair their relationship with Sven or Faendal after A Lovely Letter is complete.
-- a few additional miscellaneous quests around Whiterun
-- brawl with Nazeem just because he's annoying you
-- ask priests for the blessings of their Divines
-- ask guards about their city or settlement
-- some early game followers now have some early game quest-specific dialogue
-- provides an immersive way to acquire Rocksplinter, the unique pickaxe Bethesda left out of the game.

NPCs covered in...
Riverwood: Sven, Faendal, Hilde, Alvor, Sigrid, Dorthe, Embry, Gerdur, Hod, Frodnar, Stump, Orgnar, Delphine, Lucan, Camilla, Ralof, Hadvar
Shor's Stone: Grogmar, Odfel, Filnjar, Sylgja, Shor's Stone Guard
Whiterun: Ahlam, Sigurd, Alfhild Battle-Born, Anoriath, Arcadia, Avulstein Gray-Mane, Belethor, Gerda, Fianna, Fralia Gray-Mane, Hulda, Saadia, Mikael, Uthgerd the Unbroken, Ulfberth, Elrindir, Vignar Gray-Mane, Brill, Tilmathe Haggard, Olfrid Battle-Born, Bergitte Battle-Born, Idolaf Battle-Born, Jon Battle-Born, Lars Battle-Born, Olava the Feeble, Carlotta Valentina, Heimskr, Ysolda, Amren, Brenuin, Lillith Maiden-Loom, Nazeem, Severio Pelagia, Adrianne Avenicci, Sinmir, SkulvarSable-Hilt, Jervar, Jenassa, Andurs, Danica Pure-Spring, Olfina Gray-Mane, Mila Valentina, Saffir, Braith, Acolyte Jenssen, Gwendolyn, Lucia, Lydia, Farengar, Proventus Avenicci, Hrongar, Irileth, Nelkir, Frothar, Dagny, Kodlak White-Mane, Commander Caius, Bjorlam, Nimriel, Gloth, Wilmuth, Eimar, Mallus Maccius, Sabjorn, Balgruuf the Greater, Legate Quentin Cipius, Hjornskar Head-Smasher, Eorlund Gray-Mane, Maurice Jondrelle, and also Mithorpa Nasyal and Terek (just in case you use a mod that enables them).
Karthwasten: Enmon, Mena, Ainethach, Atar, Fjotra, Belchimac, Ragnar, Lash gra-Dushnikh
Half-Moon Mill: Hert and Hern

Also, the guards in the cities and settlements can be asked about the services the city has, who's in charge, and how they feel about their post.

Installation / Uninstallation

To install, download the main files you want to install with your favorite mod manager. Or download and unzip the archives, and place the files for each module in your Skyrim data directory.

Load Order and Compatibility

Use LOOT to set your load order. Otherwise... More to Say goes somewhere in the middle, I suppose? Because More to Say is mostly adding new records, it should not matter much.

This mod should be compatible with just about everything. Opening Scene Overhaul changes Hadvar's voice, so it won't match the voice of the new lines I added for him. You can still play with both, but it will be weird talking to Hadvar.

Minor "incongruities" though, (where NPCs say something that doesn't make sense with your game) might be expected if you are radically changing Whiterun, Riverwood, Shor's Stone, the Main Quest, or the Civil War in your load order.

Use of Skyrim Reputation, No NPC Greetings, To Your Face or a similar mod reducing the frequency of NPC greetings is highly encouraged.

A Note About Repetitiveness

While not strictly required, use of No NPC Greetings (or a similar mod that limits the frequency with which you hear greetings)
is highly encouraged. I had to make a choice whether to remove the greetings I used from the NPC greetings loops. If I removed the greetings, there would be less chance you would hear the same line twice from the same NPC. But it would mean potentially having to supply patches for an unknown number of other mods that edited those greetings. I chose instead to allow for greater compatibility and leave the greetings alone. As a bonus, it makes working on this mod a bit easier as well.

Please keep in mind that, as I understand it, even the most aggressive version of No NPC Greetings will not prevent you from
ever hearing the NPC's greetings: the NPCs can still offer them when you enter conversation, just not when you are 100 feet away.
