this is a tutorial mainly to use Reshade instead of an enb. just a warning: if you use too many shaders your game will load really slow so less is better. also Dept of field are such a pain to set up so dont blame me if you dont like seeing your trees in the distance.

Got tired of enb messing up on me! so I looked into alternatives.
- inspired and based off this mod. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/64889made by: master6TheOriginalPlace my Preset in Skyrim directory root where the TESV exe is. Install Reshade newest version it will run Reshade exe and you need to point it to your skyrim exe (Tesv.exe) it will show dx3d9 dll click on that bubble. if not click on d3dx9 dll bubble it will turn the bubble dark. It will pop up twice when you press that so say yes to both things. this downloads shaders and will take a short time before the next step.

Then set the Reshade setting by clicking on the box above the bubbles.

Most the options will be set for you pointing at the textures and shaders you just downloaded.
The one thing to do is click the top box and point it at my shader ini. I will call it Bokus Shader Preset.
      Important!:
In the Skyrim Launcher disable A.A and A.F.
Also do not use Fxaa.
those cause the water to look really weird and reflective.next go to Skyrim Prefs iniSet this:[Display]bDefferredShadows=0Run game. by default Reshade's button is the 'Home' key you can change it in the settings. I changed it to Insert key (Ins)

 You need these mods to really make it look better because my water looked nasty and I could not see anything in the water.
Green Water fix and Vivid weathers
(more settings) this thing needs some tinkering and with some luck it will be amazing for you.
1. Install Vivid weathers (and maybe a lighting mod but I am not using one personally.) I got Lanterns of skyrim though.
2. Go to My Documents\My Games\Skyrim and open SkyrimPrefs
Set these values in skyrim prefs:
[Display]
iBlurDeferredShadowMask=20 (I had blocky shadows so I set this value higher than 5)
iShadowMapResolutionSecondary=2048
iShadowMapResolutionPrimary=2048
iShadowMapResolutioin=2048
[Water]
iWaterReflectHight=1024
iWaterReflectWidth=1024

Open Sykrim ini in the same folder and set these values:

[Display]
iShadowMapResolutionPrimary=2048
fSunShadowUpdateTime= 0.000
fSunUpdateThreshold=0.100
you can set higher to 4098 or more but unless you want preformance drops,
do not do it. I for sure do not have a Nasa Pc or a Battleship war tank of a computer.
